One of many exciting youngest artists on this year’s lineup, trumpeter Poppy Daniels represents the next wave of emerging UK jazz talent. Her performance at Barnaby’s Lounge promises to be intimate and exploratory – a set shaped by modern jazz language, improvisation and the freedom that comes from musicians still unlocking where the music can (and will) go.
Artist Bio
Poppy Daniels is an emerging young trumpeter from the South Coast music scene whose playing draws influence from contemporary jazz. Her growing list of live and studio credits includes Arlo Parks, Celeste, Jordan Rakei, Blue Lab Beats and many more. She’s performed live on stage at Radio City Music Hall, The O2 Arena and as a featured artist at Love Supreme, Cheltenham Jazz Festival and Montreaux Jazz Festival.
