Gather ‘Round w/ Siddy Bennett

Featured Performer

Siddy Bennett

Occasionally Hastings local, Siddy Bennett is best known as the founder and frontwoman of folk-rock band Wildflowers and a founding member of Message From The Ravens.

She’s featured at SXSW in Austin, Glastonbury and on stage alongside Robert Plant and Tom Odell.

Now she’s preparing to release her first solo album, and from what I’ve been able to hear this new record is a powerful example of fearless songwriting – tackling heavy subjects with strength and fragility.

Siddy has always been excellent but is certainly entering an exciting new chapter as an artist.

Gather ‘Round the Piano

A series of intimate fundraising concerts at The Shop, with a different special guest each night. I’ll kick things off with a few songs, followed by a performance and Q&A with my guest, before we all gather around the piano for a Christmas singalong.

We’ll be running a bar instead of our usual BYOB setup, and seats are limited to just 20 per show.

The Fundraiser

The last few years creating live music events and opportunities here in Hasting has been incredibly rewarding, but making my work financially sustainable hasn’t been easy.

This year I’m raising funds to help me build a more secure future for my work and to enable me to make a reliable living from the effort. Every ticket sale helps, we will be selling drinks, and there’s also a GoFundMe for anyone who’d like to contribute a little extra or support the campaign without attending a show.

The Fine Print
